Perspectives.
herewego! first two are the proper 24mm. the second two are the wrong camera view... anywhoo.. the funny thing is that the 24mm ones took half an hour, while the wrong ones took like 4 hours.. good thing tho, shows i'm getting better at this.

Bare Necessities, inside the main pool of flow. No lights. Sucks. Coming Soon to a spa near you... well, in Orleans. That would rock.

Assignment 4
Grafitti.
I choose to try this in a different way since we're just trying to render the smoothest graphics for presentation. Instead of loading a .tiff, i choose for the rasterize layer to use a .eps . We did not learn how to do a semi transparent clipping mask, so for landscaping features, the transparencies didn't work properly being the 'glass' object of our site.
By the way, who did the graffiti entourage? It's awesome.

Assignment 3 ReDone
top one seems like it's in a better quality. I wasn't satisfied with the bottom one. I'm not exactly sure which one is better. The tiffs kept on bothering me with the 'jagged lines,' aka the antialias'd lines...
i might come back to this later on in the term. too much stress right now.

Assignment 3 pt 2
I couldn't get a transparent background for the .TIFF file. So now i have a background for my image.
Still havn't figured out my sketchup problem. I have less than 8 hours left in the evaluation version of sketchup pro. My license doesn't seem to work. Help would be AWESOME. Really.
update: THERE'S NO DROP FOLDER! WHATEVER SHOULD WE DO?!

Assignment 3 pt1
My sketchup won't start up again. Something about my license being used by someone else... i'm trying to fix it but not sure if i'll get it up by tonight. I havn't done my illustrator section yet. Using evaluation, but only have less then eight hours left. Not a good thing. Also missing a drop folder. I freaked out in the next post.

IWN Website
A 3-4 hour website designed from Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver.
International Week and Night
Really simple slicing, little CSS, and a java/css code for the subpages called ThickBox. Should be completely finished by Monday/Tuesday.

Additive Approach
I thought of this additive approach to be like a tree. Starting from one point, it grows and branches out to more extensions. Note how the base has more units then the higher up elevations. I added an off nub on one side to be like a 'baby branch.'

Subtractive Approach
This is the subtractive approach. I tried to create a distinctive pattern or symbol on each side by cutting away pieces. Like seen in the two elevations, I created 'lines' by either cutting them out or cutting out boxes to contrast the lines.
